New innings for Arjun Halappa |
Hockey India today announced new nine member selection committee which includes the likes of Gagan Ajit Singh, Arjun Halappa and Saba Anjum. The new selection committee will be head by former Indian captain and 1975 World Cup winner BP Govinda. The selection panel, which will be in office for a one-year tenure, was picked in the Hockey India Executive Board meeting held in New Delhi.
The new committee will take the office from July 1 and will work with India’s High Performance Director Roelant Oltmans and his team.

Syed Ali (1964 Gold medal winner)
Ram Prakash Singh (former Indian captain)
Gagan Ajit Singh (former Indian captain)
Arjun Halappa (former Indian captain and Silver medalist in 2010 CWG)
Savitri Purty (former Indian hockey captain)
Mamta Kharab (former Indian captain and Gold medal winner in 2002 CWG)
Surinder Kaur (Gold medal winner in 2004 Asia Cup) and
Saba Anjum ( Gold medal winner in 2002 CWG)
